Keeping the site running
HonestTree has no adverts and never sells your data: it is paid for by the people who use it. Here is what it costs each month, and how much has come in so far.

Any amount helps pay for the server and the maps. You pay by card on Stripe's page, and can stop a monthly support any time.

Photos and documents take most of the room and most of the cost. You can connect an S3-compatible bucket of your own to a tree: all its media then live and are paid at your provider (never some here, some there), cost this site no storage and do not count against your quota. Our backups hold the tree's database, not those files, so you look after them there (turn on versioning).
